Following that, Youtube has lists of others that have made their wedding entrances fun and memorable.

Others have made their reception fun. That’s entertainment for the guests.

Coordination and rehearsing are the key to the dance routine’s success. What makes the dance even fantastic are the coordinated clothes. In addition, wearing dresses that are comfortable for dancing is crucial, pulling up the tube and being filmed pulling up is rather unglamourous.

When you first got married, the first thoughts you might have is to grow old with your partner. Have you ever wondered how people stayed loving to each other despite the years and the occasional disputes now and then? One of the life’s rules is to love with sincerity and honesty.

You may ask how to do that. Love with sincerity comes from the heart. Honesty is to love your partner as true as you can without thinking of others and comparing their actions to others. It’s one of the steps to have a long lasting relationship with each other.

Simple tasks are often the most difficult to do when it has to do with building new habits. It takes time and a lot of patience to develop the new habit of providing love for your spouse. One can start off with the Five Love Languages. It is the most useful way to start creating new habits to show your love to your spouse. We are still individuals in a way and like to be treated the way we like to be treated.

Does Your Action Speak of Love?

Love comes in different languages for each individual. Some prefer the language of gifts, others prefer action. Action can mean from doing things that one normally doesn’t do and do it just for the spouse or partner. Actions that speak of love can mean that one will do the moping of the floor just because.

One will also go all the way to some place even if it’s inconvenient just to show that one loves the partner. This is because the spouse prefers to know that this is the way they are being loved. Bringing the children home after work when your spouse is busy cleaning the house can also mean an act of service to him/her.

Different acts of service will appeal to your spouse or partner. Asking if this will make them feel good also helps in aiding you to make them feel happy and secure. Walking them to the vehicle just as they go to work may mean a lot to some. Although in Singapore, walking one’s husband to the car or public transport may not be feasible as both could be working hard for the family, it is still a good feeling knowing that one is being loved.

This language of love comes from the Five Love Languages and speaks loudly to those who appreciate such gestures more than anything else.

Flowers are never lacking in any wedding. In the book, Five Languages of Love by Dr Chapman, it spoke of gift giving for some people. When one doesn’t receive any gifts, it’s like one isn’t being missed or loved. Gifts for your loved ones needn’t be flowers every time although they are bonuses when it comes to expressing your love.

Besides flowers, gifts such as those suggested in the wedding anniversary series can also be used. In addition, making your own gifts may just show your spouse that you care about them too.

Some spouses love reading and books make great gifts too. If you don’t know what books, find out what particular book your spouse has been talking about but never got around to get it. If your spouse loves a particular genre, get one from that genre. Romance books like Twilight, Love and Respect are just some suggestions. The alternative is to get the books from her favourite author.

A gift giver likes to give others presents. It is a joy to receive such gifts that have been from the bottom of their hearts. A person who loves to give away presents need not be rich. One can be good at crafting as they can be personalised for the receipient.

A simple question in Google can lead you to a thousand and one links and more on the reasons to why one should get married. However, there are right and wrong reasons to get married in the first place. The wrong reasons like gettting married in order to be happy won’t help since you are depending on others to make you happy.

Marriage can be used by the visualisation of the perfect vaction. It’s an analogy that can be visualised by anyone who has thoughts about taking that trip somewhere and thinking of all the activities that can be done at the destination.

Marriage leads to fulfillment in all areas of our lives: the physical and the spiritual, the financial and the practical, the esoteric and the down-to-earth day to day needs.

An interesting study states that married people are less accident prone too.

Married people not only have lower rates for a variety of illness, they are less accident-prone than singles. Singles also are far more likely to have a car accident or die of diseases of the liver, largely caused by drinking liquor. Research shows that married people drink least, the widowed, divorced or separated the most.

Do you wonder how some couples seem to have much ease with each other after being married for more than 10 years in such an era now that divorce seems so easy to just sign that paper and go? Celebrating each anniversary seems so easy but was it really easy when one has to face the same person every single day?

How does one fall in love with the same person every time throughout the marriage? There is a marriage map that each of us go through. The first stage is often the sweet part whereby the both of you are reeling in the euphoria of meeting each other and missing each other just 1 minute after you have parted and wished to spend every single second together.

As time goes by, one starts to wonder if this is the right person. Some might still be trying to figure out if it were and just agree to being married as it’s the next natural step to do since everyone else is expecting the both of you to be married. However, after a year, one starts to wonder if this is the life that one had imagined it to be. A good husband to look after the wife or a good wife to look after the household.

How does one fall in love with the same person over and over again throughout the years? Quality time spent together is often key to building a good relationship. Communication is also another part of the key. If something happens without being noticed and suddenly it looms in front of the both of you, would you seek help? Love can’t just disappear with a blink of an eye.

Something has happened and what if that issue is resolved, will you fall in love with the same person again? Would you like to save your marriage? What if someone told you that just working on yourself won’t work?

How Do You Measure Love?

It is interesting to see couples walking down the street hand in hand and looking at each other lovingly without much care about their surroundings. How we stay and maintain relationships are in fact related to our environment that we grow up in.

However, how do we measure love? Is there really a scale for that? Do we measure love by the amount of time spent with the person or the gifts that were given during major holidays? While love is being debated on the different types of love, how does one know that one is being neglected? You can’t measure love on a scale.

Time article has it said quite well:

As for love, which Menninger accused him of ignoring, Kinsey asked: “How can you measure love? Nobody knows how to approach it scientifically. We shall never write about love, but that doesn’t mean that I as an individual don’t recognize its value.”
