Treasure Your Love

Valentine’s Day may be over but it doesn’t mean that your love is shown only on this day. It doesn’t mean that you shower love for your spouse or girlfriend or boyfriend only on this day. For those with families, you show them your love.

Love can be spoken in various ways. Valentine’s Day has been commercialised over the years, with restaurants going all out to woo couples with their romantic dinners and lunches. Florists go all out to get the men to spend over $70 for a bouquet of lilies, roses, sunflowers or pansies. Roses are often included and overpriced.

While these gifts may make one happier, the feeling is fleeting. Ever thought of friends who have helped you tide over rough times? Who have made you feel appreciated and loved? Who are the ones you enjoy spending time with?

Life is short. You never know when your grandmother may just leave any time. Another way to keep those memories is to make use of the photos to make a scrapbook. Your wedding photos can be used to show off your favourite photos too.

Preserve those memories with your style as you will be looking back at them and smile. Remember, you are only young once.

Paying Attention to Each Other

One of the greatest gifts you can give to anyone is the gift of attention. ~ Jim Rohn ~ [Source]

Have you paid attention to your family or spouse lately? As the sole breadwinner of the family, you have been busy with work and returning home late. You haven’t been paying attention to your spouse who could be faced by your family.

What's that down there?!

Other times, you could be focusing on giving good impressions so much that you neglect the part about listening. Over the years, you get comfortable with one another and forget to pay attention. Your child just needs you to look at them and say it’s ok that they didn’t get that full marks because they have tried their best.

Your spouse just needs a shoulder to cry on when they had a bad day or received bad news. Just like you do. Any relationship needs to be nurtured just like plants. Have you paid attention to each other yet?
