Planning a wedding isn’t easy. Especially when you didn’t plan for it. You can choose to book for the venue to hold your wedding just 3 weeks before. However, is it available? You can choose to book the solemniser 2 days in advance but do you think he/she is available?

This big day is not just for you and your bride. It’s for your family too. By failing to plan ahead such as booking the venues months or at least 1 year in advance, especially true for hotels, you have failed to get your choice venue.

There is still the flowers, menu, food tasting, flat renovation, wedding card selection, wedding favours, guests list, wedding gowns and photo taking session. All these take time. If you are overwhelmed, get friends and relatives who are able to do a small part to lighten your load. Ultimately, for your big day, you should relax and just go through the phases. Your friends and relatives would have taken care of the rest.

Tips for the perfect wedding include making use of the checklist and asking friends who can do their parts. A lovely wedding is a lovely momento.

Paying Attention to Each Other

One of the greatest gifts you can give to anyone is the gift of attention. ~ Jim Rohn ~ [Source]

Have you paid attention to your family or spouse lately? As the sole breadwinner of the family, you have been busy with work and returning home late. You haven’t been paying attention to your spouse who could be faced by your family.

Other times, you could be focusing on giving good impressions so much that you neglect the part about listening. Over the years, you get comfortable with one another and forget to pay attention. Your child just needs you to look at them and say it’s ok that they didn’t get that full marks because they have tried their best.

Your spouse just needs a shoulder to cry on when they had a bad day or received bad news. Just like you do. Any relationship needs to be nurtured just like plants. Have you paid attention to each other yet?
