Our most basic instinct is not for survival but for family. Most of us would give our own life for the survival of a family member, yet we lead our daily life too often as if we take our family for granted. ~ Paul Pearshall ~ [Source]
As we get caught up in our lives struggling to survive the downturn of the economy, we tend to forget that we have yet to stop and spend some family time. While not everyone may be blessed with a family, those who have can take a break away from the routine and catch up with your child who could be struggling with school work or peer issues and doesn’t know when you would be free.

Life doesn’t revolve around work and money alone. Siblings may quarrel but you still have the same blood running within one and other as both of you are from the same parents. Sometimes, we may run out of places or things to do in this tiny country called Singapore.
However, you can do things such as teaching the children to cook that meal that’s your forte. Tell your kids how the two of you met and how you resolve issues with each other. Tell them about the mistakes you may have committed in your search for a life partner.
Sometimes, in life, the simplest things that are done together are often the easiest time to bond together.
What are the things you have done while spending time with your family?
