One of the steps to facial care is the face mask. Having a radiant skin on your wedding day is very important as the bridal makeup is to enhance your features. You can face masks from The Face Shop, Skin Food, Watson’s, Guardian, SK II, Shiseido, Clinique or any other beauty range.

For those with a budget, you can even make your own face mask. There’s the option of making your own homemade face mask for blemished skin:
A chopped tomato
1 tbsp of instant oatmeal
1 tbsp lemon juice
- Blend all ingredients just until combined.
- Apply to skin, making sure the mixture is thick enough to stay on blemished areas.
- Add a bit more oatmeal to thicken the mask. Leave on 10 minutes.
- Wash with warm water.
Just look at the ingredients, they are available easily at NTUC and any supermarket or mini-marts near your home. The lemon face mask recipe is more suitable for those whose skins are not sensitive, itchy, or eczema-prone.
Before using any face mask, know your skin type and use the suitable face mask for yourself. You want to look radiant and moisturised skin, not dry or flaky skin.
